Should I purchase a new webcam and if so which one?

Hi everyone!

Should I purchase a new webcam? If so, which one is the best?

Here is my dilemma. I have a MacBook Pro 16 inch, as well as an HP X 34 external monitor. As we all know, the MacBook Pro comes with its own webcam. However, the HP X 34 inch monitor does not!

I have presentations to give, and I don't want the audience to see the side of my face from the MacBook as I look at the HP X 34 inch monitor. I can always use the MacBook Pro for both the video and presentation, but the real estate is limited.

I suppose I would always place my MacBook Pro in front of the HP X 34 monitor. But that would still leave them seeing me looking up at the larger monitor. So I guess getting an extra webcam would do the trick. I guess another option would be to use my iPhone 8 Plus. But I am not sure what kind of quality that camera would give.

There's many webcams out there. Grab one that fits your budget and needs. Logitech is a well known brand, but there are others out there.

Don't rig up random stuff, just grab a webcam.
