Hi, I'm new to the site and iMac.

When I try to select a group of photos in Adobe Elements 15 - I have the following problem.

I select the first I want, press and hold shift, click the last one I want, however, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and sometimes selects only the first and last.

Can anyone help?

Try Cmd key instead of Shift.

Thanks but the command works as individual non-contiguous select. Any other ideas?

Does the shift key work with other apps for multiple selects or is it just with Adobe Elements that it's intermittent?

I've been using the lasso technique but it would be good to know what the problem is.

Problem is across the board, not just adobe.

That helps since it probably eliminates a software problem. Assuming both the left and right shift keys are acting the same way, try creating a test account with admin rights and run a test of the shift keys from that account. Let us know the results.

Click on an image, then Cmd+Shift on the last one you want. It selects all images in between for me in Photos. First pic shows one selected, second after Cmd+Shift (outlined blue).
