I'm new to the Mac with my new iMac running Lion. When I'm reading an email (in outlook 2011 for the mac) and click on a link, it opens a new Safari window. Click on another link and you get another safari window. I'm used to link clicking causing a new tab to be opened on the current browser window. Is there an option to get multiple tabs opened instead of multiple windows? So far, I haven't found it.

A second question is when I click command-tab to sequence through open apps and find the one I want, Lion treats multiple safaris (and multiple Finders, for that matter) as all one app and I can only select the one that that Lion shows me.

I find this quite frustrating when it combined with the multiple windows being opened by clicking links. Can't Lion show me each safari window when I control-tab through the applications?

First Question: Safari > Preferences > Tabs > set "Open pages in tabs instead of windows" to "Automatically" (or "Always" if you want it that way).

Second Question: Use Command-Tab to get to the app and Command-` to cycle through windows.

That would be the key just above Tab, to the left of 1 - 'cause I just tried it, and it worked. Didn't know that one. Thanks.
