Im restoring a 132gb file (vm image). I went to time machine selected the version, selected restore. Got the message to keep original, both or replace. Selected replace. It exited from time machine. The file is gone from all backups now and no longer exists in the folder. The file is on a NAS drive. Is this normal behavior and I just need to wait for 132gb to stream over ethernet, or did something catastrophic happen? I would have expected a placeholder to show up in the folder. My total disk space is unchanged so I feel like the OS is holding the space.
