• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Thank you for your suggestion, but some links for third party software and the rest are asking me to download add on and change the settings in the sound like this
(6581) How To Record Your Mac Screen With Audio (2021) - YouTube

This is not practical for non technical user.

I don't know why you focussed on that particular method what there are lots of simpler ones on that list I supplied the cluding this one as a top choice, and the price is pretty reasonable if you need more than the free trial:

If you want some more choices have I look here and search for "Screen Capture ":

Or maybe just use a tape recorder that will work with your Mac:

I don't know if Apple still supports their QuickTime, but even it worked to record audio and video and used to be included with a Mac OS X install, the Pro version was optional extra.

... the latest Mac version, QuickTime X, is available for Mac OS X Snow Leopard up to macOS Mojave. Wikipedia

Certainly lots of choices including cheap and free included among the choices listed above that are easy to use and no geek type experience needed. 😏
