Hi all At the moment I have an external drive (2 TB) connected to my iMac (running Mac OS X 10.6.8). To clean up my iMac I'm moving files to (sub)directories on my external drive. But by accident I've discovered that in a certain directory there are far more files than finder shows. Finder shows 19 files, with letters beginning from a-fr and one file beginning with a y. Then when I copy a file starting with for instance fu or a p, it does the copying, but the file never shows! When the copying takes place, I see all the 'missing' files for a short time and when I double click on one of those, they open, so they're there. Why can't I see them in Finder? Anybody out there who can help? Many thanks Margreet Mol
