Possible virus?

A friend had this pop up on her screen and I've never seen it. It's also playing music that wasn't on her computer. Any ideas?

That looks vaguely like the start-up video that will appear the first time you start OS X after installing it - and yes, it's accompanied by music.

What you're seeing is the Mac OS X logo, so it's not something out of the ordinary. If your friend was digging through her system files, she may have inadvertently executed the video.

There are no true viruses for the Mac at the present, although there are a handful of trojans out there - but none of them exhibit behavior like this.
