[QUOTE="hershe, post: 1434507, member: 266346"] hi Raz0rEdge, I didn't think my account was compromised for that same reason - they just use my first and last name. As i mentioned above though, my name is VERY unusual. so a random combo someone may have come up with is out of a question. when you click on the link, you see the address bar changing rapidly from one address to another and again, meaning i got bounced off and re-directed quite of few times to finally end up at a site which had a headline "Work from home Mom makes 10,000 in a month". When i saw the address bar changing, that's when i was like, ****... this is going to be bad. but nothing really seemed to be happening afterwards so i thought, well i am running a Mac OS and hopefully whatever they've got isn't made for that, but windows. i did not download anything, again, the moment i saw the address bar changing addresses, i realized how stupid and impulsive i have been to click on that link to begin with. but i bet that's how every single person felt too. so, yes, i did help it definitely. the question is, how do i remove it, or do i even have it? if i did, wouldn't there be more emails, going out to all my contacts and not just one? my scenario doesn't really match anything else i found on the net by far, that's why i am hoping to get some sort of help here! again, THANK you guys!
