I've tried the parallels forums, but can't seem to log in for some reason.

It used tone that on my MB pro when I opened up parallel I would get the window startup option -- the windows logo that filled up the whole screen. I could click on start or start it from the menu up on top.

But now, no matter what I choose, I can't get that -- it ALWAYS goes to the annoying control center and I have to click on start to start my VM.

Anyone else have this problem?

I'm sorry but I seem to have a hard time understanding this line...

I have Parallels 9 installed and it's almost transparent. I have a shortcut on my Mac OS X desktop that's an ipSec VPN connection to my work PC, and it automatically works when I double click it.

Which version on Parallels are you running?

My apologies -- I didn't see my own spelling error. I mean to say "It used to be" :-[

I'm using parallels 10 -- whichever the latest version is.
