Paid for iMac paypal payment bounced back?

I ordered an iMac on December 4th and on Apple's website it says they're shipping it out December 18th and I should recieve it December 23rd. I paid for it using my paypal mastercard and it would seem as though my payment has been removed (???) on December 9th and the money is back in my paypal account! The order is still in place and Dec. 18th is still the day Apple says they're going to ship it...Anybody know what happened here? I'm very confused...

Thats what it says when I look up my transaction in paypal. Any advice?

Apple would have initially verified the card.

Apple does not take the money until it is shipped (or at least ready to ship).

Same practice of every good retailer.

The problem may not be with your PayPal account. It could be a delay in getting your order ready and shipping it. Normally Apple will not debit an account until the order is ready for shipment. You might want to give Apple sales a call and inquire further.

Ok so I should wait for the shipment and than I can expect it'll go through without a hitch I'm guessing...Thanks guys!
