OS9 and OSX Leopard living on same G5?

I don't think so unfortunately. If you had said:
"Is it possible to have OS9 and OSX Leopard to coexist in harmony on my intel Mac?"
I would have said yes very much so. I use OS 9 (emulated on my intel imac) a lot. But for G5 I don't think so.
The build of sheepshaver called "Classic-On-Intel" says it's a universal app. So you can try it to get OS 9 on your G5. I've never tried it on a PPC Mac though. So it might work.

In short a G5 will not boot into Classic, but you can run Classic applications subject to having ticked the 'Install Classic Drivers' at the time you formatted the hard drive. Also have a look at this link, and for what it is worth ALL emulators are terribly slow:-
