I have a 250 GB Maxtor HD with 2 NTFS partitions mounted in a external USB enclosure that is not being recognized correctly by my Macbook C2D. When I plug in the USB cable, I get I box that says the disk is not readable. Disk Utility sees the drive as a Maxtor 2 TB (wrong) and unformated. I have installed the latest version of Paragon, and nothing happens. I no longer have a windows system, as this drive and another where salvaged from it. (the other drive had windows on it, but it is already reformated and filled with stuff). The other drive, also a maxtor, was recognized properly, and I could see the old files before I wiped it clean. The only difference seems to be the partitions. Does any one know How I can get to my data? I don't have access to a windows machine, except an old 98 box that won't recognize NTFS. Any Ideas?
