I was able to to fix it once at the Genius Bar by deleting the preference file bezelservices, but that worked only once and then the sound was gone again. No where have I found a solution for this and many owners have paid out the 300+ to replace said parts. So I went ahead and posted the solution for someone in the near future who can not afford a new laptop and purchase one of the many different models that is/was having this problem.
