no os on my imac I purchased an imac from the local university when they upgraded a lab. It was supposedly tested and verified as working fine. They do not supply an os with the machine. When powered on, just a little file folder icon in the middle and no mouse action. I called the local apple reseller and he told me my Snow Leopard Box set would give me the os I need. PROBLEM I put the disc into the machine. The drive spins and spins but nothing happens and I can't even get the disc back. I have to power it off to stop it from constantly spinning. What do I need to do to make this machine work. thanks
