i apologize for being a big ambiguous; screaming toddlers and technical issues don't mix ;) I'm referring to self assigned (auto-configuration) addresses in the 169.254.0.0/16 address space (RFC3330) I'm able to successfully get online and work with wireless with no issues at all. I've also been able to tether my Iphone to this awesome laptop as well. This is the first time i've attempted to connect the Ethernet port to my home network. I'll try deleting the profiles, right now I have a home, work, and auto profile. I'll delete home and work profiles and give it a go again. edit: After deleting the other profiles, i'm still receiving the auto-configuration address assignment 169.254.29.75/16 :(
