Ian, Thank you for all your assistance. When I did my initial Google search, I saw the first link that Patrick had posted about ensuring that Apple Music was on, which it was. I have tried having Apple Music on and off, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. My X does only has the following options under Music in settings: Apple Music Show Apple Music-currently set to off Join Apple Music Cellular Data-currently set to on Downloads Downloaded Music-1.88GB PLAYBACK EQ-Currently set to rock Volume Limit-Currently set to off Sound Check-currently has slide bar/button to the left Home Sharing Displays my Apple ID/personal email I did a search for Apple Library, but it brought me to the same music setting Same thing with iCloud Music Library There is a definite correlation between linking my X to another device via Bluetooth and losing the music. Earlier today, I checked my music ap and all of my songs were "present." I got into my truck, and played my music ap through my Ford Sync. Upon arriving at my destination, I checked my music ap and noticed that three songs needed to be downloaded again. I had the same experience yesterday when I grabbed my Bluetooth headphones and went out to mow the lawn; all was well until I linked my X with my Beats and "lost" a handful of songs. Maybe just a glitch in my phone, or an issue with iOS that the next update will correct. Or, I'm completely ignorant and doing something wrong, despite having my 17 year old tech genius also try and help. Thank you again for all your assistance. Definitely a first world problem, but it's awesome to have people like you and the many others on this forum that will take time to assist others.
