Same problem here. I have two windows machines and a linux machine that are all working, but my gf's macbook doesn't show anything under shared in finder or network. It will work using Go->Connect to Server. I've tried all the suggestions I can find and when none of them worked I restored all computers to their default settings. Today I brought the macbook to the office and it automatically shows all of the office machines (including my work pc which doesn't show up at home) under shared in finder and in Network. This leads me to believe that it's not the configuration on any of my computers, but something with my router. I'm using a netgear wgt624 with the latest firmware installed. The only changes I have made from the defaults were to set the NAT Type to 'Open' for the xbox360, changed the SSID of the router from NETGEAR and enabled WEP. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I'm bald from pulling my hair out. :)
