Hey all,
I'm looking into some of the larger 4K monitors and am finding there are very few options, not surprisingly, that can run 60Hz via a mini displayport connection (I'm on a late-2013 mac pro.)
The options increase if you start looking all of the 4K TVs out there; however, almost all of those use HDMI2 inputs rather than displayport.
Has anyone had any experience or luck using a mini displayport to HDMI 2 converter (like this one - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017BQCUGW/?tag=macforums0e4-20 ) using a mac and a 4K television? Does it even work? And if so, I'm assuming it introduces some lag?
Thanks to anyone who's interested in sharing some knowledge about this!
