Mid 2009 Macbook Pro-No Power??

I have a mid 2009 macbook pro that stopped charging. No power, and no charge light at the magsafe adapter. I replaced the battery, laptop works fine with a new battery in but still does not charge and no light on the magsafe. I replaced the magsafe inboard dc, hoping this would fix that problem, but still no charging light or charging service to the battery. I reset the SMC, didn't work to reset the laptop to read the new adapter. What now??

How about a new MagSafe Adapter, did you try that?
