    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a piece of software for Mac that can play video side by side simultaneously. It's because I'm comparing a lot of video renders on a day to day basis and it's a bit too time consuming to open two QuickTime and try to sync them up manually.

On Windows I have used RV to do it before but this is a very expensive software. On Mac there is a program called Keyframe Pro that does it but it is also €79. I'm looking for something less expensive or free.

VLC used to do it. However it currently has a bug that doesn't allow simultaneous playback, which hasn't been fixed since 2019.

So yeah if anyone knows some software that can help me play and compare videos like this, please let me know.

All you have to do is open both files in QuickTime and then press COMMAND + Return to start playback on both simultaneously.

Wow. I've never done that before. Learn something new every day.

I wonder if this works with a video file and an audio file?

Thanks for confirming that. I hadn't gotten around to testing it.
