My MBP status changed to "prepared for shipping" today on apples website. I was wondering if this means it should ship soon? Thanks in advance.

When I called apple today to clarify that my MBP was "prepared for shipping", they told me that it was definitely in that stage and was scheduled to leave the warehouse sometime between Sept. 6-10 (the original estimated ship date). So does that mean that my computer is just going to sit there for another week even though its all ready to go?

All they tell you when you call is what ever it says in the shipping details in your order status. Not very helpful at all. All you can do is wait. They will send you an email once it ships.;D

my order on the apple website says:
"In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule"

What you can do is go to the courrier's website which is TNT and put your tracking number in there. this will give you even more details.

I hope mine is not to long, it says:

30 Aug 2007 21:59 Arnhem Hub Consignment Passed Through Transit Point
30 Aug 2007 21:59 Arnhem Hub Consignment Received At Transit Point
29 Aug 2007 22:55 Shanghai Shipped From Originating Depot
29 Aug 2007 14:30 Shanghai Consignment Received At Transit Point
29 Aug 2007 14:26 Shanghai Consignment Picked Up
