Hi, I'm just gonna throw out the facts of my situation and hope for an expert's opinion.

I have a 12-inch 2015 MacBook 256GB version. I got it on eBay from a reputable and excellent seller, refurbished, and have had no other problems. I'm using several different battery monitor apps. The battery manufacture date is the 25th of November 2015, 11.9 months ago. It has had 81 charging cycles. The original max battery was 5297mAh. On the 9th of September (when I got it) it was at 5052mAh. Today, on the 20th of November, it's at 4663mAh. Is this not a considerable drop in this amount of time?

Thanks, Dan.

And is it an original Apple battery or an OEM? The only places I would buy a battery are from Apple or OWC (macsales.com).

Just to be sure...are these figures being determined when the battery is at 100% charge?

Here are two things to try:

1. Do an SMC Reset.
2. Do an NVRAM/PRAM Reset.

Google instructions for each.

At 99% there now, the current max is 4734mAh. That's 80mAh difference. I'll research those things tomorrow, thanks.
