Yup, that's what the macOS App Store shows, from 6 months ago.

MacTracker Update Available

Many of our more experienced forum members find MacTracker to be an invaluable app as we attempt to help fellow Mac users. Some of us commented recently that it seemed to have been quite some time since the app had been updated.

Well. it looks like someone was listening. There's an update in the App Store this morning.

Yeah, I saw that last night when I was notified of the update, however, I was going to tag it on to Lisa's original post about it not being updated.

Let's try to find it and do that.

Thanks Charlie. I was going to put that post here but had some trouble finding the thread. I was in the middle of something else at the time and I guess my search skills need a refresher course.

For some reason updates, Apple software and otherwise, seem to appear a bit sooner for you than they do for me. Dos that require some sort of super secret knowledge shared only with admins?

Hopefully the iOS version will be updated too. I find myself spending about 95% (maybe 99%) of my online time on my iPad instead of one of my Macs. Truthfully, I only use them for heavy lifting, typically photo processing and spreadsheets. Anything else I prefer the iPad.

I ordered the 2020 MBP 13” i7 2.3 with 16GB & 512GB SSD on May 5th. So it is fun to look at the information since I won’t get it until the end of May!

Now if they would only update the iOS version of Mactracker....

I forgot/didn't know about the IOS version. Might have to put that on my iPad for future use/reference.

I'm moving in the direction of keeping all kinds of troubleshooting information on my iPad. I really need to replace my existing Pad and when I finally do that would be a good use for that kind of information.

There is a good chance that they have already done so, but its release may have been held up by Apple's iOS app police who seem to be able to delay things sometimes excessively to the annoyance of many developers and their users.

But everymac.com seems to have made updates for all the latest released models. So you can go there and drool as well while you wait for yours to be delivered.

It's getting a bit long in the tooth and has a cracked screen. That really doesn't count does it? If so, maybe I need to list the old G3 era PowerBook a co-worker gave me recently. I might still have a Newton or two around the house as well. Haven't used one of those in years.
