It isn't new, but fairly sure the battery is good. When I put the battery in it says the battery is not charging and I don't know how to get it to charge. System profiler shows the battery installed but not charging.
health info....cycle count 31
condition normal
Can anyone help?

I would try that first. I have had two go bad so it does happen.
