MacAir M1 and Display Port Multi-Stream Transport (Linking M1 Air to two external monitors)

Hello,

I am trying to figure out the most efficient way of hooking up my M! air to two Dell U2415 Monitors.

I want to run this in "clamshell mode". Would the following work;

1. Link 2x Dell U2415 via the built in display port link
2. Getting the official Apple USB C to Display Port Dongle
3. Connecting the first monitor to this dongle
4. Use both monitors in extended mode while laptop in clamshell mode (one monitor portrait and one landscape)

Before I buy the cables and dongles I need to know this will work. Can anyone help?
