Linking Computer to Smart TV

Is there a way to link what is on my computer to a modern Sony Smart TV? I've heard a cord can be use to link a Mac Computer to a modern TV.

Yes, it's called an HDMI cable. Or you can use something like a Chromecast, AppleTV or other streaming devices to wirelessly stream to it.

We can give you much better advice on how to do this if we know the exact model of TV you're using. Several manufacturers have built AirPlay capabilities directly into their 2019 and 2020 model TVs. Others have announced that the change may be added to models as far back as 2018 with a software/firmware update.

I use a 40in Samsung HDTV as the monitor for my 2019 MacMini. Using the right cable it should just be plug and play. The most you probably will have to do us adjust ‘Overscan’ in the Display settings.
