I bought a couple of Seagate 8TB desktops about a year and a half ago.
One is still working fine but the other ended up with defective sectors - of course just past the one year warranty period.
When I started looking up recent reviews, it seems the 8TB (at least the Seagate one) is giving many people headaches.
I also have several Seagate 2TB portables I bought a few years ago and they are all still going strong - no problems.
So now I'm looking for a drive to offload some of the bigger files from my Mini and thought maybe a 4TB desk top might be the most reliable option.
Just wondering what experience other people have with large drives - over 2TB -and what people suggest I should buy.
