As you suspected the KP occurred because of a video card problem: Kernel Extensions in backtrace (with dependencies): com.apple.ATIRadeonX3000(6.2.6)@0x948000->0xb54fff dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(2.6)@0x908000 dependency: com.apple.iokit.IONDRVSupport(2.2)@0x93b000 dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOGraphicsFamily(2.2)@0x919000 BSD process name corresponding to current thread: SC2 It may have been caused by the overheating of the card itself. If your iMac is still under warranty, take it on in to the genius bar and have them check it out. If the fan on the Radeon GPU has failed or is dirt clogged, it will overheat especially when playing a game. That will cause a KP. Your model iMac uses a separate daughter card for the GPU which plugs into the logic board. As such, it can be changed out without replacing the entire logic board as would be required on most other machines.
