Hey guys, I'm pretty fed up with my laptop due to kernel panics. 2 month ago it was happening so consistently it prompted me to take it to apple and I found out it was the logic board, thankfully apple had a repair program for my specific model. It's now been 4 months after the repair, however, I'm starting to get kernel panics again. this time, it happens almost every time I leave my laptop on for a extended period of time. It almost always happen during shutdown when the screen is grey. I tried looking for updates, I recently (2 month ago) did a clean install of Lion OSX, and I tried keep the computer cool, nothing has worked. Any advise will help. My laptop is a 2010 macbook pro core i5, I am running Lion OSX with the most updated version. I had a few kernel panics after extensive use of safari so I switched to Chrome after reading Safari might have caused the issue, however, it didn't help. Please help, this shouldn't be a common occurrence with apple, I'm embarrassed to talk to my Windows friends about my mac problem because we all thought apple was known for quality, this is worse than Windows while my laptop cost twice as much. Thanks in advance guys.
