Hi all,
I've got another thread going at the moment about putting music on to a Yamaha hard drive, but I went to iTunes today and found that there's a U2 album that I haven't asked for. I can't stand this band but there are download icons in the title lines. Does this mean that I only pay if I download them. I'm tempted to just delete them but would appreciate some help.

Was the album "Songs of Innocence"? If so, it was distributed by Apple several years ago to everyone with ani Tunes account. The album was free. If you don't want the album ignore it. For more info see here. There's a link in the article explaining how to remove the album.

Yep, you're dead right, but I wonder why it's only just shown up. Now I can delete it. Thanks.

You're welcome. Come back if that doesn't work.

I wasn't really expecting it to be the album but it was the only thing I could remember from U2 that it might have been.

Right it's gone now. Things I like are from Led Zep and Deep Purple right through to the Beatles, Nora Jones etc. So I'm not in a rut with my tastes, but U2, another Bono's a Geldof type who's right up himself.
