I am trying to get a FTP server going. I've made a folder, and this is THE ONE folder I wan't to share on my ftp server. Nothing else. But no matter what I do, I can't make it do that. The server is up and running and I can connect to it (ftp://myipadress) and enter my username and possword. No problem there. But then all my personal folders pop up. Not the ONE folder I SPCIFIED in the "shared folders" but everything. But maybe it's because I'm admin. Who knows. But I still can't add any users wich can ONLY see that folder I specified. When I create a "standard" user, and add that user to the FTP sharing "users" tab, it works. But that user is able to see all hi's personal folders. NOT THE ONE I SPECIFIED. And if I create a "sharing only" user, that user isn't even allowed to log in with the ftp adress. It sais something like "password incorrect"... I've been at this for several hours now and can't seem to find a solution. It can't be THAT hard to start a FTP server, add one folder wich 1 or 2 user has access to. AND NOTHING ELSE. - Please help before I throw this iMac out of the window.
