Is the 256mg of VRAM in the 15 inch MacBookPro (330 card) enough to play games well?
The graphics card really doesn't have too much effect on how videos played on a computer, unless you are playing HD videos striaght off your hard drive, or if you have a blu-ray drive hooked up. What kind of games will you be playing on your computer, and which operating system will you be using to play them with? Like back when I had a 256mb GPU, for the 8600M GT, it was able to play a good amount of games that came out at that time. I think the best thing to try is to test the card with the available demos, and see if it can handle them.
