Every time I plug the phone into the car with a USB cable it starts playing my music starting at track one. How do I stop or disable this?
If I try to stop the app or stop/pause the music, it starts right up again.

Suggestions to not plug the phone in or add a track that is blank or silent are not fixes. Just signs that the machines are taking over and we are not in charge.

Car Play does not seem to allow removing "music" from the setup. Honda Hands free thinks my device is an ipod and instantly tries to play my music no matter how many times I try to stop it.

Does anybody know how to stop this annoying "feature"?

Happens in my Toyota when my iPhone connects via BlueTooth as well. I've not found a way to stop it. But when I stop it, it stays stopped.

I suspect the issue is with Honda/Toyota in their implementation of CarPlay.

I suppose I need to see if the same thing happens with my 2020 Honda Civic which has the latest firmware update from Honda for car play.

My wife's 2019 Honda CRV does not do that but I'm not sure if she's using BT. I know that we do not use a USB cable.
