I must say what you said I agree with most of it. You said most of what I weas feeling. Apart from the camera bit. i know I'm in the minority. But I am one of those people who think version 1 of the ipad is better without a camera. Everyone says the ipad as it currently stands can not be a stand alone computer. You need a computer at home to make best use of it. And I agree and that's the inbetween niché thing Apple was talking about. But I think most of the people who will buy an ipad already have a good camera. And would not be willing to take serious photos on anything less mega pixels then the good camera they have. Sure thingas like ipod nano/phone camera are fun to have and play around with. But that's all they are a fun toy. Not like a real camera that can get some serious work done. And I think that's why they left off the camera. They want the ipad to be a thing that helps to get work done and not a gimmicky thing people play with. Sure ipad games contradict this statement. But I think they are an after thought. Like a bonus. "My ipad can get my work done and that's why I bought it, but it can also play games". Just a little more incentive for people to go out an buy one. Even games on there have a purpose. "All work and no play" as you all know. Plus for people who are childrten or disabled or post surgery. They can use games to learn things. Heck even students can learn from certain educational games. But back to my original point. I'm glad the ipad so far has no camera. Way to gimmicky for my liking with no real benifit in it being there. I know I'm in the minority here. But that's how I feel.
