There is an update to iOS 17.0.2 to iOS 17.0.3 released today to tackle the overheating problem some users have experienced. It's probably advisable to apply this update.
Some users have complained about reduced battery life although this is a common report after iOS Upgrades. There is no mention of this in the update but as this is only a tiny update, around 345 megabytes, it wont take long and as my grandmother used to say, "It cant hurt."
