Due to hard drive failure, I recently installed a new hard drive. Now my fans are going crazy. They perminantly run at full speed. I downloaded Temperature Monitor, and according to it, the temps are normal... Right now I'm downloading all the software updates, and it says 128.8F, a temp where the fans used to run slowly. The weird thing is the problem didn't happen on mine the first time I turned it on after installing the hard drive. The problem then was I had left the install DVD in the drive and it had jammed. After that magically popping out the next time I took out the battery, the fan problem has been there ever since. The fans turn on the second the power button is hit and only turn off at shutdown or sleep. The only speed they run at is 100%. Any advice? Thanks.
