We just got a new iMac. All of our photos are stored on an external drive. When I import this library to my new IMac, all the events are lost and all photos are placed under one event. What do I need to do to keep the events that I created within the library located on the external hard drive? We also attempted to copy and not import the library from the external HD and the processes seems to time out after copying around 10GB. Any ideas why this is happening as well?
