Hello
I've been a Mac User since 2007, I generally know the ins and outs of MacOS and stuff but this is boggling my mind
I am shooting 4K footage from my phone (Galaxy S8, which does not feature 60 fps 4k capture)
When I export my footage it does not say 4K 60 fps in the project settings/export settings. But when I upload it to youtube it's showing in 60 fps...
I've tried a lot of stuff (changing settings on my phone as well as mac) and nothing works.
It's driving me crazy cause I'm recording family day outs and we want to watch them on our 4K tv but no app or browser for the TV will play 4K 60 fps, so it drops down to HD. I could've saved a lot of time and storage if I just recorded HD from the start if I wanted that lmao
Both of these YouTube videos was shot with the same phone on the same settings, one shows up in regular 4k and one doesn't. The reason I noticed this is because Safari won't give me the option to watch it in 4k 60 fps but chrome will
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rH2JvlsfM-M&t=121s <<<4K regular
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld4nfr2kmCU&t=1181s <<< 4k 60 fps
Again, both of those youtube clips are recorded with the same phone exported both in iMovie 10.1.8 with Quality: Best (ProRes) and Compress: Better Quality
Any help would be appreciated.
