Hi all,
As above, I'm absolutely sick to death of my iMac looking for a wireless keyboard when I'm actually using an apple wired keyboard. I can't sign in or do anything else. I've tried holding option command P and R before the grey screen comes up several times, and although this method that I saw on the web worked last time this happened, it won't work this time. I'd like some help before I go nutso pleeeeze.

I take it you're talking about the native Bluetooth keyboard. Just go to Bluetooth preferences, select the keyboard and ask to forget this device.

@Hoody:

What Rod suggested should work. Just make sure you tell BT to forget the device and it will stop looking for it.

Thanks all,
I don't know why, but I left it alone until this morning, started it up and it was perfect. I'll get on it and do the disabling of bluetooth as mentioned.
