I had a question. I accidentally put my headphone jack in my audio in/optical port instead of the headphone one. When I realized this and removed them, my iMac prompted me to shut it down and restart it. But when it came back on, it sent a report to apple of the problem. Does this do anything to it, especially anything bad. I'd hate for something bad to happen to my iMac any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Theoretically it is just an advisory about your system configuration and the steps leading to the shutdown. Helps future design issues - so they say. On later OS you get a choice if u want to send the info.
