I did a solder repair on my power plug, it won't reboot now, the screen lights up but all I get is a folder Icon with ?/finder icon. When I striped the machine I did it by direction found on the Metcalf site striped it down to the chassie when I removed the top cover the directions said to pull the ram out. I believe I was discharged and I didn't do an physical harm to the machine soldering was done out of the machine the only thing unplugged was the top cover plugs the ram and the power plug. I just need to make it work long enough to retrieve some files that's what I wanted to do the day I found the plug problem. It charges great now but won't start. Thanx!:Grimmace: Tom
