I got my iBook on march last year. I spend more than 2 months looking for the best laptop until one day my brother ask me "why don't you get one of those Apple laptops?" Of course he was joking and i have never considered it because i tought all laptops where too far from my reach. To follow his joke i entered Apple's website (i have allways visited QuickTime's page but never the Apple hardware section, at least not seriously). After looking for more info for another month, visiting the AppleStore and subscribing this forum i decided to go for the iBook 12". Apple computer have always had my respect, but i never considered buying one. 3 things made me decide - The details of the laptop's construction. - Altough the specs of the iBook and all other Macs seem lower than most of the PCs, the basic requirements for all the programs/games are lower than the standard PCs requirements. - My first visit to the Apple Store. I was really afraid when i first turned it on at home, i actually considered returning it at the first software/hardware problem. Now i'm impressed and i don't want to have a PC as a main computer anymore, a shame my brother doesn't want to change our desktop PC... but some day he will also join us.
