There is overwhelming evidence that the CCP is aggressively active in spying in the US from universities to industry to government organizations. How does Apple ensure that the electronics, firmware, and software installed in their Chinese built products are not infected with CCP spyware? The DOD has banned the use of Russian made Kaspersky PC virus protection software because of its ties to Russian intelligence. Having held Top Secret clearances for over 30 years I was briefed annually by FBI agents on the threat of foreign espionage, especially by the Chinese.

It may be best to just ask Apple, wouldn't you think...??? They should know, but it may be a proprietary trade secret. :cautious:

I don't suspect that Apple will tell you anything. Their policy has always been to keep all of their security efforts secret, in an effort to keep the bad guys from knowing what they are doing to thwart them.

But the folks at Apple aren't stupid. They've gone to great lengths to make sure that their Chinese manufacturing partners don't have full control over what goes in to Apple products. In this regard I'd trust Apple before I'd trust e.g. Microsoft.
