How do I ascertain what locations are photographed for Apple home screens?

Try as I have, I can't phrase a Google, etc search to find this sort of detail. I saw it once in passing and forgot the site/article. (Probably an embarrassingly easy answer!) The one I'm currently interested in is the Mojave(?) one with the lone tree looking out behind a curious rock formation.
While I'm here, does anyone know if the 'dark' versions of such pics are real or just photoshopped, please?

Google reverse image is what you want. Screenshot the image, open google, select 'Image' up in right hand corner then load your pic.

It could be the Lonesome Pine on Route 1, California, Big Sur country.
