To all the mac geniuses out there boy do I need help. I am working with a 13 inch Macbook pro 2.26 ghz intel core duo 2. Mac os 10.6.6. I tried using bootcamp so I could run windows and my mac flipped out and just wouldn't load past grey screen. I therefore reset the PRAM and the macbook loaded fine. I restored my partition to fully mac os. I then tried using parallel to run windows 7. When i tried to put the start up disk in, the dvd drive wouldn't take the disk? When i clicked on dvd player I was presented with this message- 'There was an Intialization error- A valid dvd drive could not be found (-70012). I used the dvd drive last night so am thinking I have done something to cause this rather than the dvd drive dying. Also when i go into the 'more info' section on about this mac, the ATA says I have no devices installed and I also have no disc burning facilities. I NEED HELP as am a film maker and must burn a batch of footage. Please help guys if you can All the best Kyle
