grey screen of panic

Accidentally ( is there any other way) pulled power cord off my mini.
On re-installing I got the grey screen of death.

Won't do anything now.....any ideas on possible reason or better still a remedy..mother board?...hard drive damage...? what can I try without removing the innards?

Hold down ⌘+V as the computer boots for verbose mode, to find out what's holding it up. You might need to run a disk repair from the install disc.
