That's not an obvious error, it's a fact. The new MBP doesn't come with an ethernet port, you have to buy that to add in a thunderbolt network interface. If you bought a car without a drivers seat, you can't say that it has one, you just need to buy it and add it in. So, with the MBP, they removed devices to make is smaller and lighter. How much lighter is it when you have to buy and external CD/DVD device, add a thunderbolt adapter, add a cellular interface etc. Doesn't fit into the sleeve anymore. It's OK, just something to think about when you are picking out a device. I have seen a number of people that have avoided the MBP Retina because of the devices lacking. I know eventually, this will be the standard, but I think it's pre-mature now. With only two USB ports, you have to be careful what you plan to do with them. I've had to make choices a few times over what I waned to connect when. For instance, I have a USB scanner that I connect often when I am home to scan in bills and receipts (which I then shred), a recording device for offline editing, a fitbit pod and a memory stick to share files between devices. I have to alternate between devices. Not a big deal, but something to think about during purchase.
