Hi everyone.

I'm new in the STM32 world, though I've made a lot of projects with both pics and AVR's.

So I've bought the STM32F103RET6 stamp, but I really don't know where to start!

I know the programming language is C, but I don't know which IDE to use!

I've heard about Ride7? Then I've also heard about IAR EWARM?

But I don't know how to use any of them... I can't set up a project, as I don't know what to include and what to write

I really hope you can get me started!

This is a throwback to my embedded days. You can use any editor you want to write your code and the appropriate compiler to compile the code, but you'll need the right tools to interface to the burner to update the EEPROM on the STM. IAR EWARM will seamlessly interface to a large variety of chips and make it easy to program them.

I would highly recommend you find and join an embedded programming forum with people doing this more frequently who can help.

I stopped doing all of this work about a decade ago, so I've forgotten all of the specifics.

This forum is very much Apple oriented and you're not going to get a ton of responses.
