so, my brother got his facebook account hacked.

how can he get it back when they changed his email address? he reported it hacked, sent facebook his photo ID over 2 weeks ago… still no access to the account.
facebook seems to be dragging their feet and useless in helping him..

I’ve been using google, cant seem to find anything helpful that he’s already tried. just thought id check here to see if anyone has been through this and got their account back?

I imagine they are being very deliberate in these cases to avoid a malicious actor taking over the account by claiming it's hacked. So this process will definitely go slower than usual. You just have to jump through whatever hoops they want you to jump through to prove you are the owner of the account by the posts, pictures and other content I guess.
