I still have a G4 iMac that has sat gathering dust for a few years while I have been running a MacBook Pro. It is still running 10.3.4 with a 1.25 Ghz processor.
Can anyone tell me if this is upgradeable at all, software and processing? If so is it worth doing?

Many thanks
Steve

You can put up to Leopard, 128 GB Hard Drive, and 2GB of Ram. The processor is not upgradeable. As for is it worth it? Depends on how much you can get the parts for I suppose.

Hey thanks for that, much appreciated. I'll have a scout round and see what I can get Leopard for. Thanks for your help.

Leopard is going to cost you $100 +, so probably not worth it to be honest.

Yeah so Leopard may be overkill. But Tiger should run fine. Also I just checked MacTracker and it says large drives are supported, so I guess it can accept a larger drive than 128 GB.

Hmm.....thanks for all your input, not sure it's going to be worth it. Thanks any way, going off to see what it's resale value is....not much I should imagine!

A 1.25GHz G4 iMac maybe $100.
